- Based on actual events. In 1915, there was an uprising among the inmates at the Bastøy Boys Reform School in Norway. (Bastøy Island, fjord Olso) Weary of the harsh conditions and cruel regime, a new inmate leads the boys into violence that ends with the Norwegian Army. Strong performances from Stellan Skarsgård (The corrupt Governor Bestyreren) and Kristoffer Joner (pedophile dorm master Bråthen.) Stunning cinematography, exteriors were shot in Estonia. (Baltics, Northern Europe)
