For years, Norwegian actor Kristoffer Joner has been an advocate for "Free Heroin" or "Prescription Heroin," as part of the rehabilitation treatment for addicts in Norway. Mr. Joner has been both misquoted by the press and criticized by politicians, but continues to fight and hope for legislation. In 2010, through his company Odin Film, Kristoffer Joner released the documentary short "Heroin." In the meantime, Norway continues to contemplate this highly controversial issue. Heroin is highly addictive and plentiful. Addiction is difficult to treat. Heroin is not only a problem in Norway, but for many countries across the globe.
